Nuttscorner Oval promote a full season of short oval motor racing at the Co Antrim airfield venue, opposite the famous Sunday market site. We have been promoting the very best in Stock Car, Hot Rod and Banger racing that Ulster has to offer since 2003, and are members of the ORCi and the NHRPA as well as having strong links with Spedeworth International, Europe’s largest motor sport promoters. From the high speed, high octane National Hot Rods to the thrill a minute wreck 'em racing of the National Bangers, Nuttscorner Oval has something to offer everyone, from the serious motorsport enthusiast to the family who are looking for an exciting day out with a difference.

General information, Rules & Downloads
 
Racing Licences
Before racing at Nuttscorner Oval, all drivers must have an ORCi  racing licence. To acquire a licence, driver should fill in the form below, and present it along with the required fee and photographs to our racing office, or at the track on a race day. Details of the appropriate fees are available from the racing office as detailed at the top of the form. Lightning Rods and 2.0 Hot Rods should note that only unallocated numbers between 900-999 can be used.

2010 ORCi Rules of Racing
n an effort to standardise the rules of racing across all short oval formulae from 2010 onwards, the ORCi have now also issued a set of General Rules of Racing to which all races at Nuttscorner Oval will be run. All drivers should familiarise themselves with these rules.
